The Off-White™ x Nike collaborative releases have become less frequent compared to their past frequency. However, it’s clear that we can anticipate several new color variations to become available throughout 2023. The latest one to gain attention is the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Sheed,” which draws inspiration from one of Rasheed Wallace’s Air Force 1 PE colorways dating back to 2001.
These sneakers maintain the same black and white theme as their source of inspiration. They feature glossy patent leather uppers, accompanied by crisp white laces, Swooshes, midsoles, and various branded elements. A prominent tribute to Rasheed is the embroidered silhouette of his shooting stance on the lateral heels, while his jersey number “30” is proudly displayed on the ankle straps. As is customary with Off-White™ releases, the iconic Off-White™ banners hang from the Swooshes. Additionally, the Helvetica branding has been reimagined, featuring Rasheed’s name on the inner sides. An extra pair of elongated black laces gracefully wraps around the shoe’s throat. Moving to the sole, the curvy-edged midsoles are finished in white and are complemented by solid black forefoot track spikes on the outsoles.
These sneakers are expected to be available for purchase through Nike and select retailers at a price of $205 USD on September 8th.
