After striking a groundbreaking agreement with Nike, Kevin Durant enthusiasts can anticipate a range of exciting new signature shoe designs, including the eagerly awaited KD 16.
In addition to the “Aunt Pearl” edition, paying tribute to his beloved aunt, the Nike KD 16 will also introduce a striking “Black/Vivid Purple” colorway, perfectly timed for the upcoming 2023-24 NBA season. This pair features a dominant combination of black and vivid purple as its foundation, complemented by vibrant accents in “Bright Crimson” and “Metallic Silver.”
In terms of its construction, the Nike KD 16 boasts a mesh upper enhanced with synthetic mudguards, a TPU-caging system for added support, and strategic ventilation on both the medial and lateral sides, along with 3M reflective piping for added visibility. The shoe is further equipped with a Zoom Air midsole for exceptional cushioning and responsiveness.
The eagerly anticipated Nike KD 16 “Vivid Purple” is scheduled for release on September 8th, available on Nike.com and select retailers at a retail price of $160.
